Privacy policy
Your thoughts should remain yours.
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This policy describes the current Unlost Brain coming-soon website. The future Unlost Brain app may involve additional data practices, which will be explained in an updated policy before launch.
Information this website collects
This website does not currently include accounts, forms, email capture, payments, or a working thought-storage service. We do not intentionally collect personal information through the page.
Like most hosted websites, infrastructure providers may process limited technical information—such as an IP address, browser information, request timestamps, and security logs—to deliver and protect the website.
Cookies and local storage
The website code does not currently set advertising, profiling, or analytics cookies.
If you dismiss the privacy notice, your browser stores a small local preference named unlost-cookie-notice. It contains only the word “dismissed” and is used so the notice does not appear on every visit. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s browser data.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregated website traffic, such as page views, referrers, general location, device type, operating system, and browser type. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and is designed so the reporting available to us does not identify individual visitors or track them across different websites.
This information helps us understand which pages are useful and improve the website. We do not send names, email addresses, saved thoughts, or other user-submitted content to analytics.
How information is used
Any limited technical information processed by hosting infrastructure is used to provide the website, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and investigate security or operational problems.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information collected through this website. Technical information may be handled by service providers involved in hosting, delivery, and security, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Retention and your choices
The local notice preference remains in your browser until you clear it. Retention of infrastructure logs is controlled by the relevant hosting provider.
You can control or delete browser storage through your browser settings. If optional analytics or similar technologies are added later, this notice and policy will be updated before those technologies are enabled where consent is required.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change as Unlost Brain develops. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised “last updated” date.
